Snowflake-bracelet

By: Mandy                    Project Type:  Bead Weaving

Materials:
5- 12mm round, faceted beads for center beads (clear)
26- 5mm oval, faceted beads (blue)
40- 3mm oval beads (clear)
3’- soft-touch beading wire
2- sterling silver crimp beads
2- sterling silver crimp covers
1-sterling silver toggle clasp

Tools:
Crimp pliers

Steps:
Cut wire in half, so you have two pieces, 1.5’ long
Tape one end of each of the two strands together
Sting a blue bead through both of the wires.
Separate the wires, string one 3mm clear on each, then a blue bead on each, and then another 3mm clear on each of the strands
Stringing the 12mm bead on one of the strands, put the other strand through in the opposite direction.- so the wires criss-cross inside the bead, (see picture).
Put a 3mm clear, a 5mm blue, and another 3mm clear on each of the strands and then criss cross again through the next 12mm.
Repeat a few times, so you end up with 5 of the 12mm beads across the bracelet, (this will make a 7 ½” bracelet).
After the last 12mm is strung, string a 3mm, 5mm, and 3mm on each of the strands.
Put both strands through a finalizing, 5mm blue bead.
Crimp both of the sides to your toggle clasp and then use crimp covers to hide your crimp.
