Round Nose Pliers
Steps:
- Cut 3” of 22 ga. wire
- Straighten wire
- Put bead on halfway down the wire
- Bend wire 90 degrees on top of the bead (picture)
- Take bead off
- Cut wire so there is ¼”tail left on top of the bead (picture)
- Wrap the wire tail towards you, stop when your thumb is on the bottom
and your hand won’t bend anymore (picture)
- Switch grip in the pliers, by switching teeth. Keep wrapping to close
the circle (picture)
- Put bead back on and repeat steps on the other side, so there are loops
on each side of the bead (picture)
- Repeat steps to another bead and connect the beads. Any bead can be
connected to another to achieve any type of pattern you want.
- When you are ready for the clasp- instead of connecting two loops, just
attach the lobster claw to the last loop
- This technique can be used to make necklaces, bracelet, and anklets and
can measure to be any length, this one measure 21” when complete
