Ladder Stitch Bracelet #407

Cost: 20.00 + supplies

Learn to embellish the basic ladder stitch to create a this great bracelet. Instructed by Nancy Miller, you won't want to miss this class! Come early to purchase your supplies as the class will start on time....You should finish this project in class.

 Spiral Rope Bracelet #108
All skill levels
At 82nd store
on Tue 3/18/2008 12 - 2 pm 
Cost: $20.00 + supplies

This 2 hour Spiral Rope Bracelet class is an excellent introduction to bead weaving. This simple stitch produces a strong fluid rope that lends itself well to a myraid of variations and embellishments. It works well on bracelets, necklaces, or straps for amulet purses. Most students will complete a bracelet in class. Come early to pick out supplies.

Cost: $20.00 + supplies

Learn basic Right Angle Weave technique of working with Seed Beads and Crystals while you create this sparkling woven bracelet. This class is great for beaders at any level of experience. All skill levels. Come early to pick out supplies. This example is with Czech Fire Polished beads but other similar sized beads may be used. Nancy Miller is instructing.

Beading Terminology  101:
Asynchronous:A necklace or bracelet style that has a focal point that is not the centering point.
Beadalon:A manufacturer of Jewelry Wires and cables. Many people refer to the twisted beading wire as Beadalon.
Clasp:The finding that enables the ends of a necklace or bracelet to be connected to each other
Ndebele:A type of stitch used in bead weaving, It was perfected and produced by the Ndebele tribe in Africa. It looks like a herringbone tweed or a knit fabric. It makes a relatively weak fabric that is not fluid and draping like right angle weave
