Sue is going to the Tucson show this year. She will be bringing back lots of unique and special inventory again this year. We expect all the inventory to be available by February 15th. Please watch for another newsletter when she gets back.

You won't want to miss the Right Angle Weave Earring and Crystal Heart classes by our Special Guest Instructor Nancy Miller. Nancy Miller will teach you how to do Right Angle Weave in the morning earring class and then teach you how to create this beautiful Crystal Heart in the afternoon class. You can take either class individually, but you need to know how to do right angle weave to take the Crystal Heart Class.

Bead People #453 At 82nd St store on Sat. 2/6/2010 2 - 4 p.m. Cost: $15.00 (special) + supplies These little "Bead People" are just as fun to create as to look at. You can make lil' fairy's also. Make them up and give as gifts, hang from your mirror, attach to packages, use them as ornaments, etc. Everyone loves em! You will have plenty of time to complete at least one in class.

	Old Glory Waves Bracelet #495 At 82nd St. store on Sat. 1/30/2010 1:30 - 5:30 p.m. Cost: $25.00 + cost of kit Make this Patriotic Peyote bracelet and earrings set and you'll be all ready to show your colors! The class is suitable for all levels of experience but a real plus if you have some weaving experienc. Since you'll be working with delica's don't forget to bring your glasses/lights! Kits sold

Precious Byzantine Bracelet #449 At 82nd St. store on Thur. 1/28/2010 10 - noon Cost: 30.00 + supplies Sue Twombly is teaching another masterpiece, this time creating chain out of jumprings. It is known as a "Byzantine" or "Kingslink" bracelet. She will also give you the knowledge to create a "Queenslink" bracelet. This is a beginner class with more advanced classes coming soon. You may not complete this project in class. Please bring your marked tools and come a little early to purchase your supplies prior to class time.

	Beaded Cubes #473 At 82nd St. store on Wed. 1/27/2010 6 - 8 p.m. Cost: $20.00 + supplies You will love making these cube beads in a variety of sizes. Make up some black and white cubes to create your "Indy 500" jewelry or do some in hot colors to create some funky jewelry. Everyone will want some and they are inexpensive to make. Note: You will learn to make the cube beads - you can then take them home to make the cubes into your choice of jewelry.

Beading Terminology 101:

Bead Cord: Any material that is passed thru the beads, like a string, thread, wire, Tiger tail, Acculon, Beadalon, Oppulon, and etc.

Brick Stitch: A stitch used in bead weaving projects that resembles a brick pattern with the bead above and the bead below starting in the center of the bead.

Briolette: Usually a pendant shaped bead, with facets and drilled from side to side across the top of the bead. Most often smaller than teardrop pendants in size. Usually associated with Semi-Precious Stones and Swarovski Crystals

Ear wire: A finding that fits in a pierced ear and allows other findings to be attached to it. Most often associated with a closed system where the earring can not slip out of the hole.

Finding: The elements of jewelry that are usually associated with the attaching of ends, charms, clasps, pins, and other pieces other than beads and cord or string.

Shepherds Hook: A type of ear wire that is shaped like a question mark and has a place to attach a head pin, loop pin or wire that would hold other objects
